MISSION STATEMENT

The Muscatine Swim Club is a premier swim club directing its efforts to the physical development, mental health and positive attitudes of all the swimmers regardless of age or skill level.

Our qualified coaching staff and volunteers accomplish this by teaching the importance of hard work and determination combined with technical instruction and proper diet, to continuously strengthen the ability of the athlete as well as build individual character and ignite team spirit.

Our devoted parent network completes the collaborated effort of the coaching staff by providing support to the club and its athletes in all facets; thus demonstrating and reinforcing the life skills of self-discipline, time management, responsibility, honesty, and integrity by example.

We are a year round swim program sponsored by the Muscatine Community Y that competes in both YMCA and USA swimming. Practice sessions are held at both the Muscatine Community Y and the Carver Pool at the Muscatine High School. Home swim meets are held at the Carver Pool at the Muscatine High School a 25 yard 6 lane indoor pool.
